Happy Birthday Greeting Card

Everyone needs birthday cards, right?  I know I always do.  I put this one together a while ago, but haven't had time to get it posted 'til now.

 
First I cut the yellow patterned piece to 5 ¼ “ square.  I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock the same size to cover the pattern on the back.  It also added some thickness to the card.  I used a Tombow Mono Adhesive Dispenser Permanent to attach the two pieces together.  

Then I cut a piece of the brushed silver card stock to 4 ¾ x 9 ½ “ , scored it directly in half and folded it.  Again, using the Tombow Adhesive, I attached it to the yellow patterned piece in the center.

Using the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, the Scallop Square Bigz and a sheet a Whisper White card stock, cut a scalloped square.  I stamped the image “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” with Basic Gray ink and then tied a bow around the square with the Stitched Satin ribbon in Summer Starfruit and attached it with the Tombow Adhesive Dispenser.

With the Daffodil Delight ink pad, I stamped the three flags from the Hearts A Flutter stamp set.  Using the  Hearts a Flutter framelits, run the flags through the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.  Cut a length of Whisper White baker's twiner.  Tie a bow at both ends.  Attach one bow to the left top corner of the white scalloped edge with a glue dot and the other to the right corner.  Draping in the middle.  

Using the Whisper White card stock, punch four flower shapes from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack.  Put two flowers together and push a Daffofil Delight colored brad through the middle.  Run a line of liquid glue along the top edge of the middle flag and attach it to the baker's twine.  Do the same for the other two flags making sure to leave an opening for the flowers.  Use a glue dot to hold the flag in place.  Attach the daisies in the openings between the flags.
