Tasty Tuesday--Carrot Shaped Crescents filled with Chicken Salad

I found these on Pinterest a while ago and they looked so much fun.  The original is posted on my Pinterest Easter board  (and probably all over Pinterest--they're very popular).  When I checked out the instructions (at the last minute) I didn't have the cream horn mold needed to wrap the dough around.  Why I didn't check it out sooner so I could have gone out and purchased them, I don't know...anyway at that point I improvised.  I did that more than once in this recipe.   :)

Tasty Tuesday--Greek Olive Potato Salad

One of my favorite summer salads is potato.  And there are so many varieties of this summertime favorite.  Some I have tried--not worth retrying, but this one is rather tasty.  There are 200 calories per serving for this yummy salad and a serving is 3/4 cup.  So this is not as healthy as eating a dish of veggies, but not too bad when planning a fun BBQ.

Tasty Tuesday--Spring Pea Pod & Asparagus Pasta

My husband and I have been trying to make changes to our diet.  We have cut out bread, which means no more sandwiches for lunch.  We have also cut out most dairy products--not all but most.  So we have been eating a lot of salads.  Apparently I happen to like salads more than my husband.  I could eat them every day, but eating the same old veggie salad day in and day out bores him.

Creative Corner Hop #53

Happy Monday everyone!  Did everyone have a wonderful creative week?  The end of my week and weekend and were quite busy and I didn't get much done.  My mom is in poor health and had some surgery on Thursday.  She is doing fine, but she is elderly and it's getting harder on her.  So I will try to get something posted later today.
