Magic Reindeer Food

When you’re taking care of the big guy in red on Christmas Eve with all of the lovely cookies you have been baking, don’t forget about his furry friends. 
Let the kids make a big batch of Magic Reindeer Food to sprinkle across the glistening snow (or beautiful grass) on Christmas Eve night.  They can even make extras for their friends.

To make the “food”, simply combine equal parts of oats and colored sugar and or candied sprinkles.  We dropped in everything left over from the cookies. 



Pour into cellophane bags; seal.  Attach a copy of the following poem to each bag:

Sprinkle on the lawn at night.

The moon will make it sparkle bright.

As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam,

This will guide them to your home.

These make great party favors for the pint-size guests or just fun little Christmas Eve gifts for those miniature believers in your life.
