Wholeport Gift Boxes

I received some fun packaging products from WholePort.   It's a one-stop-shop for every crafter, as they have just about everything you can imagine.  My shipment contained packaging supplies and they came in just in time for a little birthday gift I needed to wrap.  :)

These are the products I received from Wholeport.  Several boxes, some fun colored bags, and spools of ribbon.  See the cute pink box with the scalloped edge?  That's the box I decided to use.  You can find it or something you like at:  Wholeport- Category: Packaging

Project supplies:
Scalloped edge gift box
Burlap ribbon,
linen thread, small piece
1 sheet of very vanilla card stock
Stampin' Up! Hearts a Flutter stamp set
Stampin' Up! Heart a Flutter framelits
Make a Wish stamp from the Stampin' Up Sweet Essentials stamp set
1 sheet of tempting turquoise card stock
black ink pad
Big Shot
Embossing Ink
Copper embossing powder
Coral embossing powder
Heat tool
Lace ribbon (I used from the Artisan Embellishment kit from Stampin' Up!)
Blue button (I used from the Artisan Embellishment kit from Stampin' Up!)

This is the Artisan Embellishment kit from Stampin' Up!  I only picked two pieces from the kit. The little blue button and the spool of lace ribbon at the bottom of the frame.

The first thing you need to do is, put your box together.  Fold the score lines of your box.  Pop it together (everything fits nicely).  Then, place your gift inside.  :)  Seal it up and begin your decorations.

I started with the burlap ribbon, wrapping it around the middle of the box.

Then the lace ribbon went around the center.  After that, the fun begins.

Stamp your hearts with the embossing ink.  Pour the powder over each one.  Shake off the excess powder and heat emboss.  Die cut the embossed hearts using the Big Shot and the Hearts a Flutter framelits.

Cut a 4" x 3/4" strip of the temping turquoise card stock.  Stamp the strip using the Make a Wish stamp and black ink.  Cut the end into a flag shape.  Now it's time to assemble everything using foam squares, glue dots and a hot glue gun.

I used the hot glue gun to glue the blue strip down.  And also the vanilla embossed heart.  I used foam squares to glue down the coral embossed heart.  Two more foam squares for the copper chevron embossed heart (one on top of the other--to make it taller).  And another one for the blue button.  Then I tied the linen thread into a small bow and attached it with a glue dot to the top of the button.  VoilĂ !  Your package is complete.
