Ham and Cheese #Dog Bones

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered dry milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup water
1 egg beaten
Chopped ham
Grated cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or light oil. Combine flour, dry milk, garlic powder. Mix in egg. Add water (a little at time) so that mixture forms a ball.  Add the chopped ham and grated cheese.

Roll out dough 1/4" thick.

Cut out with a cookie cutter and place on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until golden on bottom.

Brush with a beaten egg and sprinkle with some grated Parmesan cheese.  Bake for another 3 minutes.  Remove from cookie sheet and cool on rack.

Store in an airtight container. You can also freeze them for a longer shelf life.

  1. These are so cute - I love that you made them bone shaped. The girls and Bob are salivating, I will have to get some ham and make them some - they deserve it.

    1. Yep. Both of my grandaughters did the same thing. :) One worse than the other. We couldn't keep her out of the dog's food. If we knew they were coming over, we made sure we put the dog's dishes away.

    1. You have three girls and I have three boys. :) Which is worse, the PMSing, or the testosterone? Mine are all fixed also, but dogs will be dogs sometimes.
