Spring Cheer Bouquet

Need a little Spring cheer?  I do.  I'm so ready for Spring to get here.  I added a cute Spring bouquet to my breakfast nook table to brighten the morning.  Since the tulips aren't out yet, I settled for faux tulips.  You can make your own with your choice of flowers, but Spring to me are when the daffodils and tulips arrive.

Chalkboard Blocks

I got together last week with Holly from Holly's Stamping Addiction to get a little crafty.  With a few blocks of woods, some chalkboard paint, ribbon, a few buttons, brads, twine and chalk we made these cute chalkboard blocks.

Mod Podge Magnet Boards

Today I have a project based on something I found on Pinterest.  I absolutely love that site!  Since I recently made magnets, I thought I would make the magnet boards to go with them.  These boards were simple, quick (other than drying time) , cost me next to nothing (just the cost of the pans since I had everything else and I went to the dollar store for those) and I got to use Mod Podge!  What crafter could ask for more?

Mod Podge Storage Cans

My newest Mod Podge creation.  Storage cans for my paint brushes, pens, scissors, and assorted tools.  These items were already being stored in jars and cans, but they were just plain old jars and cans.  I decided my craft closet need some sprucing up and out came the Mod Podge and tissue paper.  Isn't Mod Podge just the greatest stuff?

My supplies:
Mod Podge
variety of tissue papers & homemade or recycled papers (papers that give the deckle-edge when torn)
variety of ribbons, raffia, embellishments
hot glue gun & glue sticks
scissors

Mod Podge the tissue paper to the can and allow to dry.

Decorate!
