Happy Birthday Reminder Board

Today, I have a fun craft project for you.  A Happy Birthday Reminder Board! Since I have a couple of very important birthdays clustered right at the beginning of the year, birthdays are on my mind right now.  I saw a similar board on Pinterest!  Don't you just love that web site?  This nifty board can also be used as a gift idea--or just keep it for yourself!  The lucky recipient will be reminded year round of upcoming birthdays, because who likes to send out “Belated Birthday” cards or just be forgotten altogether on their special day?  With this super cute board, it's an easy way to remind yourself of the birthdays for friends and family members.

Tell Me About Yourself Award

I love receiving these cute bloggy awards! Pinkoddy's Blog: My Thoughts and Knowledge passed along the Tell Me About Yourself Award to me and several other bloggers a while back (I'm ashamed to admit how long ago). The reason it has taken me so long to post is because I have a difficult time revealing things about myself. However, I want to say "Thank you SO MUCH!", and encourage everyone to please stop by and visit her blog. It was very sweet of her to recognize me.

Here are the rules for receiving this award:

Friendship Friday Hop #2

I'm participating in another blog hop.  Friendship Friday Hop and this weeks question is "What inspired your blog name?"  This is really a great question because the title of your blog is the first thing people see when they visit, it gives them a sense of what your blog is all about.

My name blog came about fairly simply.   It's a compilation of handmade craft projects that one can only hope the recipient "treasures” and voilĂ ! there was my name.

Turkey Pot Poochie Pies

I have one more tail-wagger treat.  Turkey-pot pies!  What pooch wouldn't love that?  I know mine do.  They go crazy for all of my canine confections.  It's good to have a variety of goodies on hand for Fido--especially during training.  It keeps him/her interested. These are simple little pies to make.  The most time-consuming part it to seal them together and get a nice clean edge.

Ham and Cheese Poochie Pockets

Well it was back to work for me this week.  Although while I was off, I was able to get a variety of dog treats made and into the freezer.  These biscuits freeze beautifully for a couple of months.  So you can make them ahead, freeze them, and then transfer what you will need for the week to the refrigerator.  Then Fido can have his special treats all the time.  :)   All of my dogs have favorite treats, don't get me wrong--they like them all, but they tend to single out a favorite.  These seem to be Mr. Peabody's favorites.

Sardine Yummies Poochie Treats

I have been very remiss in updating this blog of late.  Although I do have several projects to upload, I have had camera problems--that's my excuse anyway.  I still haven't figured out the one issue that has most of my projects wrapped up in it.  Hopefully, I can get it worked out in the next week or so.  The hectic time of year and all that has had my attention elsewhere.  In the meantime, here are some gourmet poochie treats for all the dog lovers out there.  If you make this recipe, be prepared for the smell to permeate your house.  It's definitely a Scentsy morning when these get made!  :)  But the dogs love them.
